A minimally processed cereal with just rice and synthetic vitamins. While free of additives and seed oils, it's nutritionally empty and will spike blood sugar rapidly.
- PUFFING RICE – safe · Rice that has been heated and pressurized to create a light, airy texture. Safe but nutritionally poor with high glycemic impact.
- FERROUS SULFATE – safe · Iron supplement added for fortification. Generally well-tolerated though synthetic form is less bioavailable than natural iron sources.
- NIACINAMIDE – safe · Synthetic form of vitamin B3 added for fortification. Safe and necessary nutrient, though natural food sources are preferable.
- RIBOFLAVIN – safe · Synthetic vitamin B2 added for fortification. Essential nutrient with no safety concerns at these levels.
- THIAMIN MONONITRATE – safe · Synthetic form of vitamin B1 added for fortification. Safe and necessary nutrient for metabolic function.
- FOLIC ACID – safe · Synthetic form of folate added for fortification. Important for cell division and DNA synthesis, though natural folate is preferred.
