We cross-reference multiple sources including the USDA FoodData Central database. Our AI then analyzes each ingredient individually for safety, purpose, and health impact. We never guess ingredients — if they aren’t available from verified sources, we tell you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Manage Subscription." You’ll be taken to your Stripe billing portal where you can cancel instantly. You’ll keep access until the end of your billing period.

Can I share my scan results with friends?

Yes. Every scan has a share button that generates a link. When your friend opens it, they’ll see the full product analysis — even if they don’t have an account.

What does the Cancer Risk score mean?

The Cancer Risk score (1–10) flags ingredients linked to carcinogenic compounds, such as nitrites, BHA/BHT, caramel color (4-MEI), and other Group 1/2A agents identified by health research organizations. A lower score is better.

Body Impact shows how a product may affect three key areas: blood sugar stability, inflammation levels, and gut health. It goes beyond what’s on the label to tell you what the food does inside your body.

I scanned a product but the ingredients say "not available." Why?

We only display ingredients that are verified through the USDA FoodData Central database. If a product isn’t in the database or its ingredient list hasn’t been contributed yet, we won’t guess — we’ll let you know the data isn’t available.
